Ivorian winger, Amad Diallo was once more called upon by Man United tonight in a bid to rescue the points at home to Southampton in their Premier League return — with the youngster netting a spectacular 12-minute hat trick of goals to secure a come-from-behind 3-1 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning to Premier League action tonight following a masterful 5-3 penalty shootout win over rivals, Arsenal in the FA Cup third round last weekend, United found themselves a goal down after the opening half hour of tonight’s return against Southampton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whipping a corner into the area, Southampton capitalized on a miscued defense from United, with midfielder, Manuel Ugarte deflecting the ball into his own net despite the best efforts of keeper, Andre Onana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And facing an uphill battle ahead of the second half, fans of betting — especially those looking for how to bet in California<\/a><\/strong> would find themselves in for a major payout if they backed Man United to battle back and secure all three points after the interval. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introducing Dutch striker, Joshua Zirkzee for the struggling, Rasmus Hojlund before the final 20 minutes, a mastermind move from new head coach, Ruben Amorim set the wheels in motion for another memorable United comeback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equalizing in the final ten minutes with a right foot finish past former Arsenal shot stopper, Aaron Ramsdale, Amad netted his seventh goal of the season in his breakout campaign for Man United.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And just minutes later, making space on the edge of the area, Amad was once more put through via a wonderful ball from substitute, Christian Eriksen, firing past Ramsdale to give the home side a 2-1 lead.<\/p>\n\n\n

With just five minutes of added time remaining, seizing upon a terrible mistake from the Southampton defense, Amad fired in a stunning hat trick with Ramsdale at sea — becoming the first Man United player to score a trio of goals in a single match since the return of Cristiano Ronaldo three years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And despite United’s comeback victory, Portuguese coach, Amorim admitted he was less than impressed by his side’s overall display — much to the prediction of former Man United midfield stalwart, Paul Scholes.<\/p>\n\n\n

“It’s not just [about being] tired, but playing in this stadium, we lost the last three games here, and the\u00a0pressure is different, because we try to press the opponent in build-up, and you can feel\u00a0the difficulties,” Ruben Amorim told TNT Sports<\/a>. “And then Matthijs (de Ligt) between the lines, and Dibbling between the lines\u00a0with a lot, creates a lot of problems, and we have difficulties to press high in the\u00a0moment, this team is not used to do that, and then it seems like lack of enthusiasm.\u00a0So, (Manuel) Ugarte is late, Kobbie Mainoo is late, Bruno (Fernandes) going outside and the ball is inside, and\u00a0then one transition and Lenny Yoro cannot catch the guy.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
